October 2008

Annual Meeting - On November 13, 2008 , the Annual Meeting of the Association will be held for the purpose of electing directors and such other business as may lawfully be conducted.  

BOD Candidates -- On or before 5:00 p.m. , October 4, 2008 , you must give written notice by regular U.S. mail, personal delivery, facsimile, certified mail, return receipt requested, telegram or other method of delivery except e-mail, to the Association of your desire to run for the Board. The “NOTICE OF INTENT TO BE A CANDIDATE FOR THE BOARD” may be used for said purpose. You may submit an Information Sheet, no larger than 8-1/2” by 11”, containing your qualifications and/or platform for the office.

December 2007

The mulch project was a huge success! We would like to thank all the residents who participated in the project. It was a great Community effort! We may have some pictures to post later.

Community project from Friday Dec. 28 thru Sun Dec 30.  We will be installing our own mulch.  Any help from residents will be greatly appreciated.  We will meet at the club house each morning at 9 am to go over the details.

The MB HOA annual  meeting will be held Thursday November 15, 2007

The next BOD meeting will be the 3rd Monday of October -- October 22, 2007.

 

July 2007

Unit Rental -- 

No pets allowed for tenants.  No exceptions

A rental application must be submitted to the association.

2 persons occupancy for each bedroom.

Rental restrictions are no less than 30 days between November and May, no less than 2 weeks remainder of the year.

Everyone must park in designated parking spots or garages.  Owners must make garages available to tenants.

Tenants must be given a copy of the Condo documents and Rules. It is the owners responsibility that tenants adhere to rules.

Propane Charcoal Grills -- The only grills that may be used or stored near the building are electric or grills with a tank not to exceed 5.4 lbs.  

Fitness Room Combination -- Starting 8/1/2007, the combination will be changed.  Do not give out this information to anyone.  The code will be changed again in 4 months.  Refer to the letter from Island Management on July 10,2007 for the new combination.  

Hurricane Shutters -- The BOD has agreed that corrugated, baffled shutters, clear in color, to be installed 5 days prior to a named storm and to be removed 5 days after a named storm has passed are allowed.

Next BOD Meeting - Monday, March 26, 2007 4:00.  Everybody welcome.

Board of Directors Meeting Minutes -- meeting minutes will be posted on the website after they've been approved by the board.  This will typically be the meeting after the minutes are created.

Saturday Gate -- Starting in February, the gate will be open in the afternoon from 1:00 - 4:00 to accommodate open house visitors for those wishing to sell their condo.  Please report any unacceptable behavior from visitors to Island Management.

BUTT, BUTT, BUTT -- A fire in the vegetation near the McGregor gate was attributed to a cigarette butt.  Please be careful where you flick your butt!

Lending Library -- books and magazines available in the clubhouse.  Take one, leave one.
